Growbz builds custom business software for Indian SMEs from ₹75,000: billing and GST invoicing, inventory, quotation workflows and job tracking, in PHP and MySQL, deployable on ordinary hosting with no per-user fees. We eat this cooking: the invoice generator, quotation builder, credential vault and campaign platform that run our own agency are systems we built for ourselves first, and they are the honest answer to “show me something you made”.

What we build

One system instead of three registers.

Billing and GST invoicing

Numbered invoices, PDF output, payment tracking, GST fields done right, like the one that bills our own clients.

Inventory and orders

Stock, purchase, sale and reorder levels in one place instead of three registers.

Quotations and job tracking

From enquiry to quote to job card to bill, with nothing living only in someone's memory.

Multi-user with roles

Staff see what their role needs; the owner sees everything. Every action logged.

How a project runs

Scoped from how the work happens today.

  1. 01

    Watch the real process

We scope by walking through how the work happens today (the notebook, the Excel, the WhatsApp group), not from an imagined ideal.

  2. 02

    Spec and fixed price

Screens, rules and reports on paper, priced fixed, before a line of code.

  3. 03

    Weekly working builds

Your staff try real screens with real data early, because their objections are cheaper in week 3 than week 13.

  4. 04

    Run in parallel, then switch

The old register and the new system run side by side until the numbers match. Then you switch with confidence.

Who this is for

Owner-run businesses drowning in Excel.

Distributors, manufacturers, service firms, agencies. The tell is a daily ritual: retyping the same data into a second place, or a month-end that takes three days of reconciliation. Off-the-shelf tools charge per user forever and still don't fit; custom fits, and you own it.

Results you can verify

Our portfolio for this service is the software this agency runs on, built by us: client and invoice management with PDF billing, a quotation system, an encrypted credential vault, and the email campaign platform whose output you can see in our case study workflows. Need the tool to live inside a customer-facing site? That is web application development: same stack, same team.

What it costs

Fixed price against a written spec.

Single-module tool (billing alone, inventory alone)

₹75,000 – ₹1,50,000

Integrated system (billing + inventory + quotes + roles)

₹1,50,000 – ₹5,00,000

What moves the number: modules, user roles, report complexity, data migration from your current files, and integrations (Tally export, SMS, WhatsApp). Compare honestly against SaaS: a ₹1.5L build that replaces ₹4,000/month of per-user subscriptions pays for itself in three years and then costs nothing but hosting.

Frequently asked questions

With us: ₹75,000–₹1,50,000 for a focused single-module tool, ₹1,50,000–₹5,00,000 for an integrated multi-module system. Fixed price against a written spec: the surprises are supposed to be in your business, not your invoice.

Ready-made wins when your process is standard and per-user fees don't sting. Custom wins when your process is your edge, when subscriptions multiply across staff, or when you are keeping three tools plus Excel in sync by hand. We will tell you which side you are on in the first call; sometimes the answer is “keep Tally, we'll build around it”.

Six to sixteen weeks depending on modules. You see working screens weekly from early on, and we run the new system parallel to your old process before cutover, so trust is earned before dependence.

Yes. Migration is scoped as its own line item, priced by data messiness. Bring your worst spreadsheet to the scope call; we have seen worse.

You hold the code, the database, the docs and the hosting account, in your name. It is standard PHP/MySQL, the most maintainable stack in India by sheer developer availability. No proprietary framework, no hostage situation.

Never. You buy the system once; add as many staff logins as you like. Ongoing costs are your hosting (hundreds of rupees a month) and an optional support retainer.

Start with the scope, not the spend.

A written spec and a fixed price cost you one conversation. Bring the messy spreadsheet; that is usually where the story is.
