Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 24 August 2026
We would rather tell you plainly when a refund does and does not apply than bury it. This page sets out both, along with how cancellation works for ongoing services.
The principle
We sell professional time and work product, not a shippable good. Once work has been performed it cannot be returned, so refunds are assessed on what has been delivered rather than on a fixed cooling-off window. Where we have not delivered what was agreed, you get your money back.
Advance payments and deposits
- Before work begins: if you cancel before we have started, the advance is refunded in full less any third-party costs already committed on your behalf (domain registrations, stock licences, platform fees).
- After work begins: the advance covers work performed to date. Anything unearned is refunded; anything already delivered is not.
- Advance payments are not forfeited automatically. If we have not started, we do not keep the money.
Project work
For fixed-scope projects such as website builds or design work:
| Stage | Refund position |
|---|---|
| Before kickoff | Full refund, less committed third-party costs |
| During design or build | Pro-rata refund of the unworked portion |
| After delivery and approval | No refund; the work is complete |
| Delivered but materially not as specified | We fix it at no cost, or refund that portion if we cannot |
Monthly retainers
Retainer services — SEO, ads management, social media, content — are billed monthly in advance.
- Cancel any time with 30 days' written notice. We work the notice period and hand over cleanly.
- The current month is not refunded once work has commenced, because the team has been allocated and the work performed.
- Months paid in advance but not yet started are refunded in full.
- We will not lock you into a long minimum term to make leaving difficult.
Advertising spend
Ad spend is not ours to refund. Money paid to Google, Meta or any other platform goes directly to them. Where we hold unspent budget on your behalf, it is returned in full on cancellation. Amounts already spent on live campaigns cannot be recovered, by us or by anyone.
What is not refundable
- Work already completed and approved
- Advertising budget already spent on live campaigns
- Third-party costs we have paid on your behalf — domains, hosting, premium plugins, stock assets, platform fees
- Services cancelled because you did not supply required content or access after repeated requests
- Dissatisfaction with campaign performance where the agreed work was properly performed — as set out in our Terms & Conditions, results are not guaranteed
When we will refund without argument
To be equally clear in the other direction:
- We failed to deliver what the proposal specified and cannot put it right
- We missed an agreed deadline by a material margin through our own fault
- You were charged in error, or charged twice
- We cancelled the engagement ourselves without cause
How to request a refund
- Contact us in writing at info@growbz.in, stating the invoice number and what went wrong.
- We acknowledge within 3 working days.
- We review against the agreed scope and respond with a decision and reasoning within 10 working days.
- Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7–14 working days, depending on your bank.
If you disagree with our decision
Tell us, and we will look again. We would rather resolve a dispute directly than have either side escalate it. If we still cannot agree, you retain your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and the dispute resolution provisions in our Terms & Conditions apply.
Chargebacks
Please raise any concern with us before initiating a chargeback with your bank. A chargeback filed without contacting us first tends to freeze the conversation rather than speed it up, and we will always try to resolve things properly first.
This policy is written in good faith and is not legal advice. Have a qualified lawyer review it against your actual contracts and payment terms before relying on it.
